Zamboanguita COVID-19 Isolation Facilities with Amenities and Equipment

SolidACE Construction & Development Corporation was commissioned for the urgent construction of the COVID-19 Isolation Facilities in Zamboanguita as part of the local government’s pandemic response. The project consisted of modular, single-storey structures designed to safely accommodate and isolate patients infected with or exposed to the virus. Each unit was equipped with beds, restrooms, proper ventilation, and isolation features to ensure effective infection control. The layout prioritized patient safety, medical staff workflow, and rapid deployment, while meeting Department of Health (DOH) standards for quarantine facilities.

In addition to the isolation rooms, SolidACE delivered essential support amenities including a nurse’s station, triage area, sanitation zones, and equipment storage rooms. The company also handled the installation of critical utilities such as power supply, plumbing, lighting, and air circulation systems to ensure the facility’s full functionality. High-grade, easy-to-sanitize finishes were used throughout to facilitate daily cleaning and disinfection protocols, while accessibility features ensured inclusive use for both patients and healthcare workers.

This project highlights SolidACE’s capacity to mobilize quickly and deliver specialized infrastructure under emergency conditions.
